My mom called me last week and said, “Did you know that the monkey likes to read the newspaper?” My sister then sent me a video of the monkey looking at an Albertsons ad, which I was very surprised. What could have sparked that curiosity?

I realized it’s the word “Albertsons”.

Today he was looking at the ad again but the paper tore, the word Albertsons was in two pieces. He brought it over and clapped. Then tried to put it together. He was trying to ask me to fix it.

I don’t know if it’s the font or the color, but it sparked a new curiosity out of him.

So I did what any other autism parent does when their child has a new fixation, we went to Albertsons and stole all of their ads! 😂

And now he has his little stash of extras for when he accidentally tears another one again.
