The monkey was awarded Student of the Month Award.

I thought about this and thought “Really?” I have the teacher’s and principal’s notes discussing my son’s behavior from February and it hasn’t been good. Truth be told they are bad.

But in all honesty, he’s been going thru a difficult time and yet he still tries. He still gets on the bus on his own. He still walks to PE, to the cafeteria, to …therapy, to all of his activities even though he doesn’t want to go.

We can see his struggles. But we can also see him trying.

And for being a six year old little boy, I think he’s very brave.

Congratulations my monkey. We are so proud of you.
