Today we had our time with the board, our five minutes. The district had their turn toothed they rebutted, we rebutted, board asked questions, we answered they answered.
But in the end the board ruled against us. They did say they have a condition, they want the district to increase their communication towards the us.
It’s crazy that we fought for so long to get to this point, and then to lose to quickly. We honestly don’t know where to go from here.
Today has been more than emotional, it’s been exhausting.
But tonight, we are going to enjoy our kiddos and be grateful for what we do have. I’m not going to give this man, that violated our son and our family, one more sleepless night. He doesn’t deserve it.
We have control in how we respond, we have power.
