Tomorrow is the Special Olympics. When my son’s teacher originally mentioned she wanted our monkey to participate, my first reaction was not to let him go. It will be held at a different school, one he doesn’t know, and there are a lot of people, and a lot of noise. But she reassured us that he can handle this.

It’s tomorrow. All the kiddos have been practicing for some time.

And add to this is the fact that I’m out of town. If something happens I can’t run over to assist.

His teacher says he’s been doing great. And she feels he will be fine. Their plan B is if he struggles, they will take him to the bus where he can see the stop signs.

All I can do is wait from far way, hoping and praying everything will be okay. πŸ™β€οΈπŸ’™
