With all of the things happening around the world right now, let’s take a moment to stop and reflect on the things that really matter. My husband has always told me that if we lose our jobs, our homes, our possessions, we’d be okay as long as we have each other. Our family is not made up of the material possessions we have, our family is us.
In this day, where we try to increase awareness of this disability, I’d like to see if we can also take the time to do more. Let’s not only become aware of those that are different than the norm, but also accept the differences, and make steps to include them.
- Awareness
- Acceptance
- Inclusion
Let’s become better. Let’s expect more of ourselves.
We will eventually come out of this situation, let’s come out of this as better people.
More loving.
More caring.
More patient.
